Or run the installer by hand
TetherBay is in beta and not yet code-signed, so Microsoft Defender SmartScreen shows “Windows protected your PC” the first time you run the installer.
This is expected for the current unsigned beta. Before you install, you can check the file against the SHA-256 checksum published on the v0.2.650 release page.
Click “More info”, then “Run anyway”
On the blue SmartScreen dialog, click More info — a Run anyway button appears. Click it and the installer continues normally.
If your browser warns too
Edge or Chrome may flag the download — choose Keep (or Keep anyway) to save the installer, then run it.
